Child Policy - there is no reduced tariff for children at Whare Kea Lodge. Reservations for children under 15 years are only permitted when Whare Kea Lodge is booked on an Exclusive Reservation basis.

Cancellation Policy - Deposit is refundable (less $200.00 administration fee per person) if cancellation made more than thirty days prior to commencement of stay.

Cancellation’s made less than 30 days prior to commencement of stay (regardless of reason) the total accommodation amount will be charged to your credit card, less any space that can be resold. We recommend that you have travel insurance to cover cancellations.

Tariff includes: full use of all lodge facilities, a four-course gourmet table d'hote dinner and continental or country style cooked breakfast. Whare Kea Lodge is a fully licensed establishment.

Other Whare Kea Lodge extras include; all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, telephone calls and faxes, wireless internet access for your laptop is $10.00 per day including limited amount of information down-loading. In-house laundry service, massages, and any other outside services invoiced through Whare Kea Lodge and Chalet.

Lunch can be provided to suit guests needs whether it may be a packed lunch, gourmet picnic, or in-house sit down lunch. It would be appreciated if these were to be arranged prior to arrival or on check-in. Prices are on application.

Exclusive Use Reservation; Whare Kea Lodge can be booked for Exclusive Use at any time of the year for NZ$6,000 per night maximum 12 guests. A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable immediately in order to secure any Exclusive Reservation. Final non-refundable payment of 75% is due 30 days prior to arrival for final confirmation of the reservation.

Please note: a 18% surcharge applies on all tariffs at Whare Kea Lodge & Chalet on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and the 2nd January.
