The Whare Kea Story
After falling in love with its striking views two decades ago, Martyn and Louise Myer (its guardians to this day) purchased the property and transformed it by planting scores of native trees. Over time, they built a home – an exclusive oasis from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for all who stay there.
The walls of the property, its décor, its owners – are all steeped in stories that go back decades. Whare Kea is a truly unique establishment that guards the stories of the past, and opens its doors for new ones to be written.
